International Paper-John Dillon Park Walk

Not too far north of the village of Long Lake, John Dillon Park, managed by Paul Smith's College, combines deep, archetypal Adirondack woods and lakeshore with handicapped accessible trails and bathrooms. We'll take an easy ramble here on an afternoon in midsummer, identify trees and other wild things of interest, and, as always, see what turns up.

All trails, bathrooms, and lean-tos are ADA accessible. 
Registration is required for this walk. 

Directions:
From the intersection of Rts. 30 and 28N in Long Lake village, drive north on Rt. 30 for 4.8 miles to the John Dillon Park entrance on the right. Drive down the entrance road past the gate until you reach the designated parking area and visitor center. We'll meet there. Take it slow down the 2 mile dirt road.
