Pottery Workshop with Natasha Smoke Santiago

All participants will join in on a hands-on Traditional Haudenosaunee Pottery Workshop. Natasha will go through historical components, including: the structure of a pot, demonstration of building techniques, the utilitarian purpose of pottery, and interpretation of designs. Natasha will also provide a variety of historical & modern tools. Reproduction and original archaeological pottery shards will be available for visual reference. Each participant will build and complete their own small pot.

Materials will be provided by the instructor.
